D. J. Marcus

D. J. Marcus focuses his practice on small business law.  Specifically, he helps small businesses with entity choice, federal and state taxation, and litigation issues.  He  is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, the CBA Tax Section, and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association.  D. J. sits on the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations’ shared Interprofessional Committee and is currently helping to draft Colorado’s Interprofessional Code, 4th Edition.

D. J. graduated from the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver in 2007.  He is admitted to practice law in front of the Colorado Supreme Court, the United States Tax Court, and the Internal Revenue Service.  He earned his B.A. in Political Science and Anthropology from The Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO.

D. J. is a two-time Ironman and regularly competes in local races, including the 2009 Denver Marathon and the 2011 Mike Nields Memorial Bannock St. Criterium. He also feeds his passion for cycling by helping The Bike Depot with both their tax issues and bike maintenance.
